Slide The MCU Modules, using certain subset of peripherals, can be re-mapped to better fit customer requirements when needed, while leaving the same Carrier and Device modules intact. The MCU Module can be easily configured to be programmed and run completely independent of the Carrier board due to the integration of debug and serial interfaces, core power conversion, reference crystal and a configuration switch. REDLINE™’s modular approach allows both software and hardware engineers a hassle free platform to develop components to fulfill project requirements. Unlike conventional evaluation boards, the modular approach does not require unwanted components or jumpers to be added or removed. Group routing assists the hardware engineer in focusing on component design and eliminates the research time involved in pin connection and function. Available MCU start-up code and embedded peripheral drivers jump start application development. The Carrier board allows for direct routing of common interfaces, along with critical interfaces from a Signal Integrity perspective (SDRAM memory, Camera RGB, MII/RGMII, HSSL, high-speed differential serial), while preserving options for custom implementations Carrier and Modules A variety of Power supply adapters can help with quick system validation by changing required power and reset sequences, power supply margining, supply current measurements, etc.

Slide The REDLINE™ Carrier board works as a base, or motherboard, interconnecting our AURIX™ MCU Platform Modules to any number of peripheral modules servicing dedicated and generic MCU functions. The Carrier board provides connectivity between all MCU Platform Modules and peripheral connectors via two 200-position pad arrays. This board allows 100% of the MCU functional connectivity down to a particular peripheral module, even for largest 516-pin BGA package. Easily accessible and clearly marked test points provide hassle-free access to 100% of the routed signals. Download PDF Development Platform for use

Slide Designed for use with our REDline™ Carrier board, this Module provides the necessary power rails to supply the AURIX™ MCU Platform Module as well as other peripheral Modules and devices. The Module sources +5V, +3.3V and +1.3V from an externally connected +12V power supply. The +5V and +3.3V rails have a selectable ±10% margining capability providing means for thermal and functional qualification.

Two high-precision voltage sources provide lownoise and very low drift references for all available AURIX™ ADC peripherals.
Multiple options available to configure power rails’ sequencing, MCU and System reset delays as well as reset sources. A separate circuit allows simulation of ESR0 and ESR1 signals.

A complete hardware development support package is available including: schematics, BOM, layout, gerbers, PCB stack-up, and low EMI design rules.
